Deer Netting

This tough Deer-X™ net/fence provides considerable protection against deer. Draping it over vulnerable plantings such as ornamentals, fruit trees, and vegetables interferes dramatically with chewing. It also does well as a vertical or slanted fence attached to bamboo or wood posts with wire or plastic ties and placed within a foot or so of landscape plantings in order to prevent deer from gaining easy access to those plantings. There are good instructions for how to create a vertical or slanted fence. Mesh is 3/4" polypropylene with U-V inhibitors for long life.

Barrier Deer Fence

There are two main types of more permanent, nearly invisible deer fence that, if properly installed and maintained, will reliably keep out deer. One is made of polypropylene while the other is made of pvc-coated metal hexagrid mesh.
